Golden Age Garden Apartments in San Diego, CA is a seniors project we have been lucky enough to renovate twice. Our first contract was a combination LIHTC/ARRA project in 2008 during which we completed a moderate rehab which included interior renovation of 72 units, roof replacement, window replacement, elevator modernization, and community room upgrades. The latest work is a HUD refinance scope which includes full HVAC replacement, balcony repairs, and exterior painting. We love this property, and its residents who always make sure our workers have had enough lunch (and dessert!).
